He was in a hundred bands although none of them really registered in my psyche or memory. My memory is very poor. Lustfaust did register though as it seemed a lot more serious venture than the others. By this time Guido had moved to Berlin to become a ‘fuller artist’ so I couldn’t afford to see him as often as I had done. I remember the letters he would write me were all about his band. He could not wait to play me their tapes. I saw him at most a few times a year and each time he would bring me new tapes. We began a concept for my designs that were based on the Italian artist Mimmo Rotella’s décollage ideas. We would each collect magazine pages and glue them on top of one another and then I would tear at them until I was satisfied.
