Hans Berger
“We all loved Hans’ drawings and these weird little things he’d scribble – he definitely had a good eye” remembers Guido van Baelen. “It was a natural choice to ask him to do the posters. We had no-one marketing us, so we had to do it ourselves. Hans got hold of some stencils and became obsessed with the photocopier, ha-ha!” Van Baelen also remembers the posters kept Berger from the temptations of the road: “If he was occupied making the posters then he’d be less likely to de drunk or high. He took such pride in those posters and spent a long time getting them right, even though he knew it was likely that they’d be ripped up or rained on straight after we stuck them up.”
