North European Tour (Oct-Nov 1979)

November sees the troubled band, close to it's demise, subjected to another tour at Van Baelen's behest, again in an attempt to heal the band. Again things go awry. Kazuki is unable to play the German dates due to session work commitments, while Kruger quits after being bottled off stage in Hamburg. Oracle and van Baelen complete the remaining German gigs as a duo, with more favourable results. The Dutch leg of the tour sees Kruger and Kazuki return to the band, although with Kazuki considerably more enthusiastic. The dislocation in styles and tastes between Kruger and Oracle and Van Baelen and Kazuki, is increasingly a problem, and is amplified when Castle, who has been travelling with the band, takes the role of bassist. While musically they are formidable, ideologically they are split. The end of the tour also marks Oracle's departure from the band.
