UK Tour (Jun-Jul 1978)

Kruger cobbles together five pub-based gigs. At the first Kazuki is violently thrashed by a skinhead, the following gig sees Berger replace him with a stolen brick-filled cement mixer and the set is pulled after their second song. Each of the gigs ends either in the plug being pulled on the band or a scuffle ensuing between the band and the crowd.
July 2 1978 – the band play the Rock/Folk Contest at the Round House in North London where, having found out about the true nature of the competition, Kruger and van Baelen come to blows, the band play a squalling noise as a backdrop to the Belgian's soft-rock songs, Berger – high on a combination of drugs – inadvertently begins to pneumatically hammer the walls of the building and finally a fire starts. The band flees an angry mob of promoters, their UK adventure over.
